Selected students will attend the PSSA Athletics carnival at Wauchope. Students will need to be at school at 7.30am ready to leave school at 7.40am sharp and return by 3pm. Students will travel to and from the event by bus. Students will wear full school uniform including school hat. They will need to bring lunch, water, sunscreen, hat, picnic blanket or towel to sit on. Permission note and money to be returned to Mrs Eshman bt Friday 26th July.

Some of our Senior Choir members will represent Westport at the Festival of Choral Music at the Sydney Opera House. Our students will depart Westport Public School on Monday 12th August, perform at the Opera House on Tuesday 13th August and return on Wednesday 14th August. Tickets to the Concert will be on sale on 2nd July at 9am. They are available for purchase from the Opera House at Sydney Box Office or by phoning 02 92507777. Our students will perform at the Australis Concert on Tuesday 13th August. Tickets sell extremely quickly so to avoid disappointment purchase tickets on the day of sale.

We are offering Kindergarten students the opportunity to see a live performance of the popular children’s story book “Grug” at the Glasshouse on Wednesday 14 August 2024. We will be travelling via bus to and from the performance. The cost of the event is $21.00. A consent form and payment link for this event is now available in School Bytes. Please make payment and consent by Friday 9 August. There are only 50 places available.
