Year 6 are holding a chocolate coin toss fundraiser during lunch for the last few week of this Term 2. All students will have the opportunity to win a block of chocolate by being able to throw a coin and have it land on a block of chocolate. Cost - $1 for 5 throws. Please advise the school if your child has a nut allergy.

Students who have received 80% or more of their stamps on their behaviour chart are invited to this terms treat day to the Indoor Stadium and Stuart park for various games and activities. Studetns will travel to the venue by bus and will walk between the indoor stadium and stuart park escorded by teachers. Cost is $6 for the bus and venue hire. Permission note to be returned to class teacher with cash or payment can be made via Parent Online Payment, Eftpos at the Office by Tuesday 22nd June. Full school uniform is required including a school hat with shoes and socks suitable for the indoor stadium. Students should bring lunch, drinks, sunscreen and towel to sit on.

This year, Year 3 and 4 students have the opportunity to participate in a 3 day / 2 night camp at The Great Aussie Bush Camp near Tea Gardens. It is the perfect outdoor education and recreation learning environment where students take part in fun group activities that promote key learning through developing relationships, collaborating, team building, problem solving and physical activity for wellbeing. Further information on the camp can be found at https://www.bushcamp.com.au/locations/tea-gardens/. We have made a booking for 110 students, so spaces are limited. It is anticipated that the cost of the camp will be approximately $255 per student. This includes bus fare, 2 nights accommodation, fully programmed camp (qualified staff to run all day and night activities) and meals (lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 3). The first 110 students to pay their deposit of $55 will secure a place at this exciting camp experience. Only students who consistently follow our School PBL values of Learners who are Respectful and Safe are eligible to attend. We are giving parents the opportunity to pay off their child’s camp or pay in full. See payment plan on permission note. Buses will depart the Westport PS bus shelter at approx. 8:00am Monday 2nd and return around 5:00pm on Wednesday 4th. A $55 deposit is to be paid by Thursday, 4th March 2021. This deposit will be a firm commitment to your child’s attendance at camp. All payments of are to be paid by Thursday, 15th July 2021. Further camp details, permission notes, medical forms and what to bring will be sent closer to the camp date. Please contact your class teacher to discuss any matters relating to the excursion.
