Our school is special

The standout for our school centres on our whole school approach to literacy, numeracy and student well-being. At Westport there is tangible evidence of this from when you first enter the lovely grounds of the school to when you step into any of our state of the art learning spaces.

All students' learning is closely monitored. There are shared understandings and shared language about students that parents can easily understand and allows them to feel a true partner in the learning journey of their child. Learning pervades the school.

There are also multiple points of engagement for all students with a strong commitment to engaging students in sport, music, chess, creative arts and recreational pursuits.

The foundations for an exceptional education lie in our relentless focus to build on quality teaching in our school.  Exceptional teaching is taking place every day for every student in a calm, caring and supportive environment.
